Get to Know Gerald C. Anderson, Sr.

A Tampa native, **Gerald C. Anderson, Sr.** grew up in the vibrant Belmont Heights neighborhood, where his imagination and love for storytelling began to take shape. After graduating from C. Leon King Senior High School in 1980, Gerald served his country in the United States Air Force. He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University and a Master of Administration in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Cincinnati. In 2010, Gerald began his journey as a published author with his debut novel, *We Come in Peace*. Since then, he has continued to create stories across multiple genres, developing characters and entire universes designed to entertain, challenge, and educate his readers. His passion for storytelling eventually led him to establish **Lyfe Publishing**, created with the belief that authors deserve greater control over their work and a larger share of the rewards their creativity produces. Gerald is also a musician, songwriter, and producer, bringing the same creativity and imagination to music that he brings to his books. A devoted Christian, Gerald has served as a church musician since 1999, and his faith continues to influence both his life and his creative work. Beyond the books, music, and publishing, Gerald considers family one of his greatest blessings. He is happily married to **the most beautiful Dr. Vanessa R. Anderson**, his wife, partner, and an important part of the life he treasures. Today, Gerald continues to write, create, produce music, and build new worlds for readers to explore—always with the hope that every story leaves them entertained, inspired, and thinking long after the final page.
